Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Oregon.

I specialize in political communication and political psychology, particularly in the context of science, technology, and environmental policy. My research centers on understanding emergent communication challenges—like populism and rising distrust—in contexts like climate change, and speaks to a broader discussion of how politically driven communication choices interfere with public support for policy solutions. Additionally, I consider ways to bypass these communication barriers using emerging technologies and public-centered solutions.

Previously, I was an NCEC Sloan Foundation Postdoctoral Research Scholar with the New Carbon Economy Consortium, conducting research through the Harry S. Truman School of Government and Public Affairs and the Social Cognition of Social Change Lab at the University of Missouri. Additionally, I was a Chateaubriand Fellow at the Université de Paris, Laboratoire de Psychologie Sociale (LPS). I completed my Ph.D. in Political Science from Purdue University in 2021.
